Raptors World is a UK-based
company that provides entertainment with somewhat realistic looking
dinosaurs. The dinosaurs have an operator inside and can walk, dance,
roar, and bite down on "victums'" heads. The dinosaurs entertain at
hospitals, fairs, city steets, and other venues. Their
YouTube Channel
shows the dinosaurs interacting with people. I was delighted when
I first saw one of the dinosaurs chomping down on a person's head while
the person was laughing hysterically.
In May of 2025, the company's van was stolen while parked at a hotel overnight. Besides the van, the two main dinosaur costumes and other gear were stolen and not recovered. A GoFundMe page was set up to help rebuild the company's business.
